Design Draftsman

Design, plan and draft utility construction drawings using AutoCAD software. Must have ability to read site plans, as-built documents, utility plans, etc. Must be detail oriented and be able to conduct thorough research. Requires working face to face with clients, builders, developers, engineers, permitting agencies and utility personnel. Salary range is $18-$30 per hour, based on ability and experience. Formal training in AutoCAD and/or 2 years of technical college preferred. Position is fulltime and includes benefits including vacation, sick leave, health insurance and Simple IRA plan. Must pass DOT mandated pre-employment drug and alcohol testing. Positions open in our Springfield, Virginia office.

Quality Control Inspector

Inspect the work of utility construction crews. Ensure compliance with federal, state and local codes as well utility construction practices. Requires ability to work with multiple construction crews simultaneously. Must be detail oriented, reliable and punctual. 5 years of progressive utility or highway construction experience preferred. Salary range is $20-$30 per hour, based on ability and experience. Position is fulltime and includes benefits including vacation, sick leave, health insurance and Simple IRA plan. Must pass DOT mandated pre-employment drug and alcohol testing. Positions are open throughout the state of Virginia with urgent need in the Suffolk/Norfolk/VA Beach area.
