Advanced Plastics

Course Description:

The Advanced Plastics Course is designed for a person who has completed the Beginners and the Intermediate Plastics Courses or has had at least 3 years of progressive experience in joining small diameter plastic pipe. This course will give the applicant a thorough knowledge of the methods and practices of joining large diameter plastic pipe larger than 8” in diameter up to 24” diameter. In this course the candidates will learn how to join 10”, 12”,  16” and 24” diameter plastic (PE) pipe and will include High Density Polyethylene (HDPE).  The candidates will also learn to install Branching Saddles and be exposed to Cross-Fusion between different types of plastic
